Is the subtext here that the Jewish Establishment is 100% OK with stereotypical Jewish Cabal crimes unless it happens to other Jews? Are you trying to invite trolls from Stormfront or what?

My comics are intended neither for Stormfront trolls nor for those who believe that Jewish art, culture and debate should be dictated by the thoughts and proclivities of Stormfront trolls.

I share B. BarNavi’s supposition that the subtext/implication behind Eli Valleu’s cartoon is that a rabbi and a Jewish communal leader (Valleu’s stand-ins for the antisemitic canard of an all powerful Jewish Cabal/Lobbyâ„¢) are 100% onside with Jewish crimes, unless they happen to other Jews.
The premise behind this comic is not just false, it is a libel against Jewish American community activists and any rabbis who work with them. Mr. Valleu clearly doesn’t require Stormfront trolls to guide him or to lend him their support: he proves here that he is capable of endorsing and embellishing antisemitic libels without them.
How brave of Mr. Valleu to speak falsehood to the falsely alleged omnipotence of a vilified and demonized minority.
I wonder if Mr. Valleu ‘walked his talk’ and refused remuneration for the publication of this comic from Jewish organizations (who *gasp* likely have rabbis and Jewish community leaders as members and supporters) which he delights so much in demonizing.

“The premise behind this comic is not just false…”
The rabbi and communal leader are not stand-ins for “an all powerful Jewish Cabal/Lobby” but for individuals who have celebrated criminals in our community.
The fugitive’s deeds are based on actual activities of major Jewish philanthropists who have received honors and accolades from Jewish foundations they support even while they are involved in unethical activities. This is not “falsehood.”
Don’t blame me for the antisemitic canards; blame Jewish leaders who celebrate criminals. This comic was not published by “organizations.” It was published by The Forward, which has a long and vital history of pointing out community injustice. And my name ends in a “y.”

It is imperative that community injustice be exposed and history not be whitewashed. Consider the consequences of coverups by other religious and political groups, such as the pedophile scandal within the Catholic church, and be grateful to the Forward for publishing EV’s cartoons. I hope to see more, and would like to correspond with EV regarding the “treatment” of young women who had children out of wedlock (especially biracial children) by Jewish organizations in the twentieth century.

Are you the same Eli Valley who works for the Steinhardt Foundation? That could explain your excessively guilty conscience …

This would hardly be the first time that Jews have been accused of exhibiting a double ethical standard. There is one for the Jews and one for the gentiles. If it is true, there is nothing anti-semetic about it. It is just the truth.
